You can join MLM companies, but I personally don't like that.  You can make money passively by creating Myspace profiles or YouTube videos and having your content reference a website where you're either selling a digital downloadable product, or even a website containing Google Adsense ads. 

To make money passively with Google Adsense ads is simple.  You can sign up for an Adsense account and copy and paste some code onto your webpage and you're done.  With the free traffic you'll receive from MySpace, Facebook and YouTube, your visitors will come to your page, and may just click on the links that they find. 

One of my favorite ways to make money passively is with the affiliate marketing method.  This method is about sending clicks to other people's products and making a profit each time.  It's similar to the time tested method of face-to-face sales, except that you do this without ever speaking to a single person, without starting a formal business, without owning a product of your own and you get paid handsomely 24/7/365 every time you make a sale.
